Lawrence Drucker joins Liston Abramson, further strengthening its litigation practice
Liston Abramson LLP, the New York based litigation boutique, is pleased to announce that Lawrence Drucker has joined the firm as a partner, bringing with him over 30 years of trial experience in federal district courts throughout the United States.
Larry’s practice focuses on patent, copyright, trademark, unfair competition and other business disputes. He has represented patent owners and those accused of infringement in the most active district courts in the nation including those in Texas, Delaware, and California, and in investigations before the International Trade Commission. He is experienced at both challenging and defending patents subject to inter partes review before the US Patent Office.
Larry is particularly experienced in the management and monetization of IP portfolios. He has handled many cases that have been financed by litigation funders and is experienced at guiding clients through the litigation funding process. He also frequently advises litigation funders as outside diligence counsel and is often recommended by them to represent claimants in litigation.
Larry is also an experienced commercial litigator who has represented clients in a wide variety of cases involving breach of contract, fraud, antitrust, bankruptcy, trusts and estates, and other business disputes.
A graduate of Columbia Law School, Larry’s prior work experience includes serving many years as a partner with Winston & Strawn LLP and Brown Rudnick LLP, and, most recently, with Stern Tannenbaum & Bell LLP.
“Larry’s extensive high-stakes litigation experience, reputation, and contacts will be invaluable for serving our current clients and growing our litigation practice, both in intellectual property and general commercial litigation,” said partner David G. Liston.
“I am delighted to join Liston Abramson because it has such a strong platform already, representing clients around the world,” Drucker said. “The firm is really focused on growing its strong IP litigation capabilities and I am excited to contribute to that growth,” Drucker added.
